A 2-year full-time Planning and Entrepreneurship programme was thus instigated with a vision to build up skilled high quality management intellectual and practitioners for efficient running of Indian business and economy. The IIPM believes that proper managerial point of view; search of excellence and competent decision-making action is possible by a person with managerial potential developed into a highly creative, enrich and thought-provoking mind through awareness, skills and attitude provided in the Planning and Entrepreneurship course.

The IIPM has full-time faculty in the core management disciplines and the well-designed areas of management. The Institute also has a panel of well-known management intellectuals and senior practicing managers from varied fields of management.
